The Junior Network/Systems Administrator is responsible for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents in support of mission critical platforms. This position will also be responsible for initial troubleshooting of production issues, escalation as required, hands on testing and full reporting. Candidate must have experience in a high-availability (24x7) environment. The NOC Engineer will administratively document and communicate issues from start to finish including resolution.

  • Maintenance and support of High Availability Systems
  • Monitoring WAN and LAN Networks to ensure smooth connectivity
  • Keeping Track of Services running on different servers and generation of regular reports
  • Monitoring the Application logs for all PMD hosted services
  • First Line of Technical Support for the Services Provided
  • Identification, Troubleshooting and Rectification of Issues
  • Ensure timely executing of Back-ups and Restoration Policies
  • Review, propose and implement improvements to overall Systems
  • Ensure Compliance of Escalation Procedures and SLAs
  • Coordination with Internal and External Technical Team members for resolution of issues
  • Coordination with Vendors and Ensuring Compliance of SLAs
  • Minimum 0-1 years working experience in Tier 1 IT Service Support
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Diploma holder in Computer Science
  • Having a flair to do some management related activities
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, internet access, emails etc..
  • Ability to work in team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations
  • Uses technical expertise to provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems in a timely manner.
  • Researches, resolves, and responds to questions received via telephone, emails, and call backs. Logs call data and trouble tickets into a central database or help desk system
  • Provides a high degree of courteous and helpful customer service at all times.
  • Conducts regular trend analysis, documents, and reports results.
  • Provides regular continuous improvement ideas and solutions to increase the effectiveness of support services.
  • Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
  • Perform daily backups.
  • Install desktop software upgrades as needed.
  • Assist in the development of system documentation.
  • Manage software licensing
  • Provide end user support on desktop, Windows, Office, etc….
  • Special projects as assigned by supervisors and leadership
  • Excellence and accuracy should not be detoured.
  • Accuracy in reporting and meeting deadlines
  • IT Support Analyst will directly report to Technical Support – Team Lead
  • Communicate anomalies unusual behavior process of an error in a record to investigate the matter further.
  • Attend weekly, daily and monthly Team meetings
  • Send daily shift start-end report to Team Lead and Line Manager.
  • Send completed report to Team Lead at the end of shift along with PM
  • Analyst should be dependable and follow dress code policy.
  • Responsible to perform additional tasks as assigned.
