About the Role:
The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for implementing automation solutions to help deliver quality, well-tested software across the Company's web applications, mobile apps, and API's. Alongside the Company's Lead QA Engineer and development teams, the ideal candidate will set up a QA test automation harness to run a suite of regression tests. The QA should enjoy breaking code and finding exposures as much as our engineers enjoy building products.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain an automated testing infrastructure
• Write code and scripts to automate existing manual regression steps
• Train existing QA resources to contribute to the QA automation effort
• Be an advocate for QA, help rethink, and improve processes and metrics
Skills & Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in software automation testing.
• Experience using a test case management system.
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment
• Hands-on experience with cross-browser compatibility testing of web applications
• Mobile testing on iOS and Android including phones and tablets
• Use of compatibility testing services
• 4+ years of experience with QA automation frameworks testing Web Apps, Mobile Apps, API's, using different frameworks
• Proficient in writing comprehensive test plans, scripting experience with different tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Playwrite, Cypress, Protractor.
• Experience using source control systems such as GitHub
