Job Description

  • The ICT Service Manager is a position reporting to eCom Division Head and is responsible for managing and overseeing ICT Service delivery across all eCom laterals.
  • This includes playing an integral role in overseeing the operations of the organisation’s service desk by ensuring optimal service levels through building strong and motivated teams.
  • The ICT Service Manager also manages the customer service relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensures that the service team meets its delivery and reporting obligations.
  • The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate strong ability, and the potential to lead in the following key result areas:
  • Manage and operate service management platform and the ICT service desk; provide high-quality ICT services; identify and mitigate ICT issues
  • Provide leadership that ensures effective service delivery of ICT services in all eCom laterals
  • Manager eCom Services inter-alia
  • User Access Control
  • Support eCom Portal/Mobile Configuration changes
  • ICT Systems monitoring (capacity, availability, functionality)
  • Portal/mobile app, customer portal
  • Backend interface for call center, operations,
  • Hosting services
  • Services interfaces monitoring (Payment Gateway, Insurance, Financing etc.)
  • Incident management
  • Backup & Recovery management
  • Cybersecurity management
  • Collaborate with other eCom managers and teams across board to implement systems and process improvements
  • At least four years of experience in managing a comprehensive ICT services department for eCom Services.
  • Practical experience in the delivery and execution of ICT services
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ICT projects and teams
  • Skilled in the delivery of ICT service design and service operations activities
