We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory tests to ensure product quality. Should have experience in APP and Cloud application testing on web, iOS and android platforms
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
Requirements
- Be responsible for all steps of ongoing Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Responsible for execution of manual tests following black-box testing types like smoke, functionality, regression, usability and ad-hoc testing.
- Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications
- Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfil end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
- Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
- Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software developers or engineers.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
- Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing requirements or user stories to ensure identified testing solutions and meet customer needs and expectations.
- Analyse formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
- Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
- Participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
· Manage the technical issues in the assigned accounts and ensure the smooth operation of supplied equipment.
· Preparation of quality reports and system setup report for the assigned accounts.
· Sales support in the assigned accounts.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile environment.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, gherkin syntax.
- Hands on experience with JIRA, Basecamp, Trello, Fiddler, Postman, and Instabug is plus.
- Experience with Test Automation scripting on TestNG, Selenium WebDriver is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience in requirements management, regression testing, and bug logging.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Microsoft SQL skills to develop queries for verifying test results is plus.
