Role: General Manager Production House for Tehxeeb London in Lahore Pakistan

Creative Director, Amty Ahmad, Tehxeeb London has successfully become renowned for its intricately designed bridal collections and stylish casual wear.

Tehxeeb London’s mission was to create a unique brand of effortlessly elegant and exquisite eastern couture for both men and women. The brand is best known for its versatile, specialized prints, textile design based on pure fabrics, unique colors, and fine craftsmanship. A well-renowned and well-loved brand; Tehxeeb London is a runaway favorite. Tehxeeb London’s distinctive design philosophy commitments to upholding the art of traditional craftsmanship, bringing sophisticated cuts and experimental silhouettes while embracing the trendy expectations of the new age women and man.

Initially Texheeb London began as a designer boutique, partnering and collaborating with designers from Pakistan to bring the best and most luxurious products to the UK market. Understanding that sometimes the needs and requirements of customers weren’t being met, Amty set about to launch her now wildly successful collection of bridals and luxury wear, which has grown from strength to strength and quickly has become an international success.

Due to the label's increasing popularity, a second boutique is opening in Birmingham in January 2020, where the brands ready-to-wear and haute couture lines will be available to a growing clientele from the rest of the United Kingdom.

Recently Tehxeeb London has launched an e commerce website which has proved very popular and is generating orders and demands from all over the world. The production house has in house designing department comprising of three designers, in house stitchers, embroidery and adda workers. There is a huge section where independent contractors work and deliver within our premises.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organizing production schedules
  • Maintaining work flow on a daily basis by setting up process variables and observing control points
  • Completing production plans, establishing priorities and reporting the results of process flow to company director.
  • Assessing project and resource requirements
  • Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales.
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met and will maintain a clean and safe environment for all workers.
  • Determining quality control standards
  • Overseeing production processes
  • Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
  • Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
  • Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Liaising with London head office and delivering the agreed targets of production.
  • Training and supervising the work of other  staff
  • Manager must also be able to handle responsibility and pressure of meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Management of staff leave and finding appropriate replacements.
  • Cost tracking and spread sheet maintenance of daily production.
  • Enforcing company policies and guide lines
  • Implementing cost saving strategies and techniques
  • Negotiating contracts of production with outside contract workers
