Tekfirst is currently looking for a Lead PHP Developer to join their growing development team. The successful Lead PHP Developer will be driving a range of web application development in PHP (Laravel, codeigniter, Zend Magento). As the Lead PHP Developer you will lead a team of back end and front end developers working on a range of complex web applications. The right PHP Lead will need to be adaptable and able to flex to meet workloads fluctuations. As the PHP Team Lead, you must have significant (7 + years) experience in the development and deployment of large-scale PHP-based web applications to drive technical innovation of the company’s projects and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver creative and elegant solutions for complex and large scale problems
- Prioritize development work to facilitate successful deliveries
- Participate in the project requirement process to understand business, technical objectives, and product requirements.
- Create detailed design based on the approved high-level architecture of the application.
- Build and Maintain Strong SDLC discipline in team
- Lead and manage the PHP team, promoting the creation of elegant, practical solutions to meet the company’s business goals.
- Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for team members.
- Provide accurate effort-estimates for deliverables.
- Be committed to the deadlines through follow up of tasks with team members.
- Research and actively learn about new technologies and introduce them into the infrastructure.
- Resolve technical issues that are escalated by junior and mid-level developers.
- Work closely with the director of Technology to assist in the analysis, evaluation and recommendation of new application and technology appropriate to the company.
SKILLS:
- 7+ years of experience in PHP, PHP5, MySQL, JQuery, JSON, CSS, HTML and AJAX
- Advance knowledge of Native Javascript, preferred libraries are (jQuery, Backbone.js, Modernizr, require.js, Node.js, Web Sockets).
- You have at least 5+ years of experience planning, building, and operating complex web applications in an agile environment using PHP programming language.
- Experience of complex SQL queries and database scheme design
- Advance knowledge of MVC (Laravel , codeigniter, Zend framework 2).
- Server tuning Apache, MySQL, Slow-Logs, Query Optimization, Code Refactoring.
- Experience of relational databases, system integration, service-oriented and web application architecture, responsive design, version control tools and third party APIs
- Must have practical knowledge and hands on experience with large scale website development.
- Good Analytic programming skills is must.
- Excellent Communication and team management skills
