Troubleshooting the above mentioned industrial telecoms systems, as assigned by the Head of Industrial Telecom, in a timely manner and to a high quality.
Conducting /supervising the corrective maintenance related to the above mentioned systems.
Carrying out all the modifications, upgrades as per the company’s approved Management of Change procedures (MOC).
Carrying out minor modifications that are triggered by end users requests.
Ensures healthy operation of servers, workstations and network components and conduct periodic backup, antivirus update and operating system patching as per the approved procedures.
Ensuring documenting all changes by updating the related systems’ drawings and any other documents seems to be necessary.
Interacting with the Telecom Supervisor and the technicians in order to implement the systems’ modifications and upgrades.
Ensures compliance with company methods and procedures.
Complies with all company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe and if in doubt, consults supervisor/manager before proceeding.
Reports all accidents, incidents or near misses to supervisor/manager or to the QHSE Department if supervisor/manager is not available.
Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.
Technical Skills:
Specific knowledge and hands on experience in the following fields: Electronic circuits troubleshooting, radio frequency system (RF), fiber optic technologies, electric machinery, Data communications, PC hardware and software troubleshooting, computer networks and audio and video systems.
Specific and solid working experience, formal training or on-the-job training in the troubleshooting, installation/commission and (or) maintenance of the following systems:
· Hernis Scan CCTV systems model HE-400 and HE-250
· Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions (formerly Spector-Lumenex) PAGA systems model ACE100 and ACE16.
· Senstar Fence Intrusion Detection System (FIDS) model Intelliflex
