Position Summary:

The Assistant Director office will be from a leading Telecom/Banking background & will have a strong track record in project management. Associate Manager PMO will also ideally have to be able to effectively multitask in the dynamic telecom industry. He/she should be able to meet deadlines in a high stress environment.

The role also includes developing & proposing possible strategic ways to achieve the business goals linked with particular projects. He/she will also be responsible for conducting pre & post launch analysis & implementation of PMO controls for better governance during the course of projects and expected to work with diverse teams, manage people & be creative in your approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Portfolio Balancing – Visibility of their cost/budgets allocated/utilized, re- sources utilized & targets achieved for a program/portfolio

• Ensure SDLC Process Formulation & reengineering/agility based on organization need and time to market.

• Responsible for ensuring process awareness through trainings etc.

• Having strong grip over stakeholder management in terms of satisfying their queries and resolve project delays through excellent collaborations

• Supporting the Project team on requirements gathered from internal stakeholders to ensure efficient roll-outs.

• Should be able to read technical & commercial documents & should be able to relate any important changes to engineering & other functional groups.

• Must understand the customer-related demands & have a keen sense for urgency.

• Should be able to communicate complex issues & help gain consensus through the various levels of organizations, whether internally or externally, in order to accomplish what needs be done, by hosting & attending a number of meetings

• Maintain records & repository/database of all the essential documentation of projects, risk registers & ensure comprehensive information is provided to Management in optimized formats for decision making

• Should be champion & a strong proponent of TB Product Development Model, helping the product development teams in educating, training, implementing &

• governing the Product Development Model

• Ensure there are regular reviews, accountability & that management of projects, stakeholders & suppliers is in place.

• Reporting & presenting Project Reports and Statuses. Also implement effective tools to track progress & slippage in timelines

• Improve existing Project Reporting Tools by working on its automation (from requirements perspective) & making sure that the requirements are correctly conceived, implemented & delivered for the end users

• Develop a plan of bringing together the information on projects, resources, time- scales, monitoring & control

• Maintain records & repository/database of all the essential documentation of Projects

• Continuously assess performance; research & develop new capabilities; systemically apply learning & knowledge in the PMO functions

• Identify problems in existing business operations and recommending optimal practices to achieve the solution.

• Play a vital role in business project’s decision making processes by acting as a central reference and information source.

• Conduct different Forums including Project Forum, Governance Weekly Forums and Customer Forum etc.

• Process Reengineering

• Evaluation of the process efficiency backed by the data and the stats.
