• Responsible for smooth functioning of all branches’ operations including administration, marketing, training, lending and security.
  • Strong understanding of prudential regulations & SOPs.
  • Familiarity with bank laws, foreign exchange control regulations & Government Securities sales & encashment.
  • Ensure achievement of assign targets as per the defined deadline.
  • Daily sessions on business momentum and target achievement with sales & service staff.
  • Portfolio Analysis of the Branch, identifying the stagnant customer base and drive the deepening of multiple products selling.
  • Strong understanding of Bank’s products & offerings.
  • Monthly review of P&L of the Branch with the objective of optimum utility of available resources, which will lead to enhanced revenue lines with standard cost components.
  • Balance Sheet Management in line with the Bank’s strategy.
  • Management of Cost of Fund keeping in view the Interest Rate Scenario and the Bank’s Strategic view.
  • Monitor service delivery in the Branch ensuring high competitive standards. Compliance of regulatory framework with special focus on KYC parameters.
  • Constantly review internal and prudential KYC and AML requirement with a view to remain updated on any revisions.
  • Periodic Review of the customer base in line with the assigned risk categories.
  • Lead to motivate Branch Staff towards achieving their respective targets.
  • Formulate viable business development strategies to ensure long-term success and achievement of goals.
  • Ensure safety and security of location, cash, collateral and other critical branch records within the area.
  • Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions.
  • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
  • Strict monitoring of staff against any corruption and malpractices and report any such incidents to supervisor’s office (Head Office/ Regional Office) with confidence and integrity.
  • Carry out any other task assigned by supervisor.
  • Incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviors & Values in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
  • Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities
