• Supervise complete operational functions of the branch including all reports and returns connected with it.
  • Ensure effective control with focus on compliance of prudential and other regulatory instructions.
  • Take ownership of compliance, audit & self-assessment functions. Training subordinates to undertake the audit by internal / external / SBP audit.
  • Manage cash area effectively and maintain the integrity at all times and ensure the reconciliation of the branch cash at day end.
  • Take particular training measures to improve delivery and performance of operations staff and achieve the standards.
  • Be updated with the complete range of bank’s loan and deposit products.
  • Undertake effective disbursals of loan accounts subsequent to the availability of genuine documents & present customer.
  • Custodian of all security documents like Drafts, ATM Cards, Cheque Books and ensuring its usage as per the policy.
  • Deduct and submit all kinds of taxes & Fees which are at branch level.
  • Responsible to ensure Customer’s KYC as per SOP and signature scanning and uploading at the time of account opening.
  • Approve signature and thumb impression In case of doubt.
  • Reviewing and extending teller’s cash limits.
  • Responsible for the timely branch opening and its readiness for operation on time.
  • Responsible for the branch security and clean environment.
  • Responsible for the timely response to any query from higher office / Management /any other department.
  • Asses cash requirements for the prospective days and place request keeping in view the sufficient delivery time.
  • Timely assessment of any excess and shortage of cash and arrange and supervise its transfer to ensure safety and integrity.
  • Continuously review the risk to the cash area & safety of the overall branch. Arrange/advise due precautions for overall safety and integrity.
  • Ensure the cash loading of serviceability of ATM.
  • Ensure the dispatching of the Customer’s statements.
  • Custodian of Branch and Vault (If needed).
