Risk Champion is mainly responsible for Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Compliance Risk Management (CRM) activities within IT Governance function in coordination with Operational Risk Management Unit (ORMU) and Compliance Risk Management Unit (CRMU) on all Operational Risk matters.
· Review the results of RCSA’s locked with IT Teams
· IT Risk Register Management
· Coordination and collection of RCSA from IT Teams
· Reporting and dashboard for different forums
· Testing of IT Governance RCSA’s and get its validation done from Risk
· Close coordination with Risk function to perform risk champion tasks
· Ensuring submission of evidences to Risk on time for closure of monthly RCSA’s
· Ensure immediate reporting of operational loss incident
· Support initiatives to improve the operational and compliance risk profile
· Annual review of policies and procedures
· Ensure proper execution of operational and compliance risk management activities.
· Manage and collate all operational loss data (if any) and report the same to ORMU on monthly basis.
· Conduct Risk & Control Self-assessment (RCSA) Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) exercise as per the defined procedures.
· Ensure continuous monitoring and reporting of bank’s operational and compliance risk exposure, risk incidents, losses, near miss events and KRI breaches to ORMU and CRMU, where related to compliance.
· Share all new policies and procedures, processes, product programs, BRDs, business cases etc. on draft stage or as and when being modified for review and advice on addition, removal or changes to Risk & Controls.
· Comply with other Operational Risk or Compliance Risk work-streams/activities rolled-out from time to time as per their respective procedures and operating standards.
· Ensure to facilitate Compliance or Operational Risk in monitoring reviews, or validation thereof, as applicable.
· Incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviours & Values in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
· Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities.
