More than 5 years of hands-on experience in Industries like Oil & Gas

  •  Shall be able to communicate well in written & spoken English.
  • Experience in Instrument Field / Workshop in Oil & Gas Plants
  • Preference will be given for the candidate who worked earlier in Qafco in a similar field.
  • Good Knowledge of all types of Instrument drawings like Loop Sheets, Termination details, Junction Box and Panel wiring diagrams.
  • Shall have experience of laying of various Instrument cables like single and multipair, armored, and un-armored cables including laying of fiber optic cables.
  •  Shall have experience in the installation of various field instruments like Transmitter (PT/LT/TTs), Temp. Elements, Flow elements, Different kinds of switches (Level/Pressure), Compressor /Pumps instruments, Different types of gas detectors etc.
  • Shall have experience in the installation of Cable trays, junction boxes & panels.
  • Conversant with cable routing and tray layout in Oil & Gas plants.
  • Shall have Knowledge and experience in glanding and termination of Exi, Exd, and Exn field instruments.
  • Shall have knowledge and experience glanding and termination of all types of Instrument cables like single pair and multi-pair, armored and un-armored cables.
  •  Shall have experience of loop checking, testing, and commissioning.
  • Shall have Knowledge and experience on Cable termination, Ferruling, cable dressing, and Panel Termination, Panel wiring, Internal Connection of DCS, ESD & PLC Panels.
  • Shall have Knowledge and experience to modify field instruments wiring, Instrument Panel wiring (e.g. ferrule, termination, routing) and cable routing.
  •  Shall be able to work independently & shall have awareness on Hazardous area classification.
  • Shall be able to read P & IDs drawings and Instruments Hook-ups drawings.
  • Shall have qualities like leadership, teamwork, taking initiatives and commitment towards work & Supervisory skills.
  •  Shall have experience of conducting/attending toolbox meetings for scheduled work activity and accordingly proper tools, safety equipment's shall be available prior to commencement of work.
  •  Shall have knowledge/awareness Relevant Industrial Standards
