The Territory Manager plays a crucial role within the Field Sales division by managing a specific geographical area to consistently meet sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). This position involves building strong relationships with external customers through regular store visits and supervising distributor field teams to ensure alignment with company policies and trade plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve secondary sales and distribution targets within the assigned territory, aligned with brand and trade plans.
- Lead daily sales discipline by conducting morning and evening meetings to coordinate team activities.
- Manage on-premises time efficiently, ensuring effective coordination between Order Bookers (OBs) and District Managers (DMs).
- Maintain comprehensive Reckitt brand coverage across all relevant outlets, focusing on numeric presence, stock width, and depth.
- Monitor daily KPI performance to drive continuous improvement and meet sales objectives.
- Oversee the use of Newspage Handheld Terminals (HHTs) by OBs, supporting technology adoption in the field.
- Provide coaching on sales call techniques, objection handling, system usage, and effectively communicating the value proposition of Reckitt products.
- Lead the launch and monitor the performance of new product developments (NPDs) within the territory.
- Ensure timely disbursement of channel plan incentives related to merchandising activities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing field sales, preferably within FMCG or FMCH sectors, with a focus on the Punjab region.
- Proven ability to lead effectively under pressure while consistently meeting sales targets.
- Strong understanding of trade plans, brand interventions, and the role of NPDs in driving sales and market share.
- Quick decision-making skills to confidently address customer queries and objections.
- Demonstrated administrative capability to efficiently manage distributor infrastructure.
- Analytical skills to implement and adapt trade plans strategically based on territory needs.
