This role is for a Territory Sales Supervisor (Grade Level: L1) based in Peshawar, reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager within the Regional Operating Model overseen by the Regional Business Head. The position involves leading a small team of two to three supervisors and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners to achieve regional sales objectives. The focus is on expanding JazzCash services, Postpaid Sales, and Franchise/Retail Business Development through consistent market engagement and proactive resolution of operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of Jazz’s values, business model, product portfolio, and market dynamics within the regional framework.
- Conduct daily market visits to perform spot checks and retail audits, ensuring stock availability and compliance.
- Manage one assigned franchise, occasionally two depending on potential and geography, providing daily oversight and following up on reports shared by the Area Manager.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise and retail networks to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Drive development of retail and distribution networks by engaging franchise staff and distribution officers (DOs).
- Focus on critical enablers such as BVS Activation, EVC (Agent to Agent servicing), market float management (targeting 2.3 days), DO service levels (aiming for 50% daily), and recharge performance (keeping non-performers below 5%).
- Collaborate with DOs to maintain minimum balance retailers below 5% and actively follow up on non-performing retailers.
- Achieve key performance indicators including recharge volumes, gross additions (prepaid and postpaid), JazzCash metrics (Direct Recharge, Cash-In, M-Wallet), mobile broadband sales, and active retail base growth.
- Develop and implement plans to increase sales of handsets, Wi-Fi devices, remittances, and postpaid subscriptions.
- Engage retailers in planning and executing Below The Line (BTL) marketing activities aligned with sales targets.
- Optimize trade marketing spend and expand channel footprint while improving retailer servicing KPIs and minimum balance compliance.
- Maintain territory integrity and prevent operational infringements.
- Foster positive and productive relationships with retailers and franchise owners within the assigned territory.
- Continuously monitor and improve JazzCash and Voice KPIs for both self and team members.
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity by introducing new ideas and processes to boost team performance.
- Motivate and counsel franchise and retail channel stakeholders, explaining profitability models to strengthen partnerships and ensure mutual growth.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing end-to-end projects with responsibility from planning through execution and feedback.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, as well as effectively under supervision, to enhance sales and distribution channel performance.
- Demonstrated success in meeting monthly KPIs such as JazzCash Wallet Activation, Postpaid and Prepaid Sales, Remittances, Cash-In, and Mobile Number Portability (MNP).
- Strong track record of increasing business penetration and consistently achieving targets within assigned territories.
- Skilled in channel strengthening and development with relevant sales management experience.
