This role is for a Territory Sales Supervisor (Grade Level: L1) based in Rawalpindi, reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager. It plays a vital part in the Regional Operating Model under the Regional Business Head, focusing on driving growth across JazzCash, Postpaid Sales, and Franchise/Retail Business Development. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve regional sales targets, address daily operational challenges, and strengthen market presence. Key Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of Jazz’s core values, business model, product portfolio, and the dynamics of the regional market.
- Conduct daily market visits to perform spot checks and retail audits, ensuring consistent stock availability.
- Manage one or two assigned franchises based on potential and geography, maintaining daily reporting and proactive franchise follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise and retail networks to ensure smooth business operations.
- Drive development of retail and distribution networks by engaging franchise staff and distribution officers (DO).
- Focus on key performance enablers such as BVS Activation, EVC (Agent to Agent serving), market float management (maintaining 2.3 days), DO service levels (achieving 50% daily), and reducing non-performing retailers to below 5%.
- Meet target KPIs including Recharge, Gross Ads (prepaid and postpaid), JazzCash (Direct Recharge, Cash-In, Mobile Wallet), Mobile Broadband (data devices), and active retail base metrics.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of handsets, Wi-Fi devices, remittances, and postpaid subscriptions.
- Collaborate with retailers to plan Below The Line (BTL) marketing activities aligned with sales targets.
- Optimize trade marketing efforts, expand channel footprint, and improve retailer servicing KPIs and minimum balance maintenance.
- Ensure territory integrity and prevent infringement issues.
- Foster positive relationships with retailers and franchise owners within the assigned area.
- Continuously monitor and improve JazzCash and voice-related KPIs for the team.
- Demonstrate proactivity and creativity by proposing innovative ideas and processes to boost team performance.
- Motivate and counsel franchise and retail channel stakeholders by explaining profitability models to strengthen partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Proven success in managing challenging projects with full responsibility from planning through execution and feedback.
- Ability to work independently and under supervision to enhance sales and distribution channel effectiveness.
- Experience in consistently achieving monthly KPI targets related to JazzCash Wallet Activation, postpaid and prepaid sales, remittances, cash-in, and Mobile Number Portability (MNP).
- Demonstrated ability to increase business penetration within assigned territories.
- Strong skills in channel development and sales management.
- Relevant experience in managing sales teams and distribution channels.
