Test Automation Engineer

Qualitest Group is looking for a proficient Test Automation Engineer with strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, executing, and maintaining high-quality automated test suites to ensure the reliability and performance of our products on both web and mobile platforms. This role involves close collaboration with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps engineers within an agile environment, contributing significantly to the delivery of robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks and CI/CD test pipelines.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze outcomes, and ensure adherence to software quality standards.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Debug test failures, perform root cause analysis, and document defects clearly and accurately.
- Integrate automated tests with build and release pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
- Maintain test data to ensure repeatable test runs across various environments.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation for web applications.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation testing.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
