Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for an experience and competent Maintenance Assistant for its healthcare facility in Gilgit Region.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing routine tasks and general maintenance of electrical appliances, minor repairs and fixing. To ensure the electrical appliances are in good operating condition. Previous experience working with HVAC, electrical in healthcare facility is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that attendance is maintained regularly and punctually.
- Tuning of is maintained properly.
- Ensure that enough stock of fuel is available.
- Ensure that engine oil and filter are changed within the time frame (standard km).
- Ensure that all the motor pumps are in working condition.
- Ensure that unit electric line is safe, and no connections are made by out siders.
- Ensure that geysers of the unit are in working condition and make ensure for hot water.
- Maintain complain register.
- Timely information regarding the major repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure that electric meter of the unit is running properly.
- Proper Repair & maintenance of Generator.
- Ensure that all fans, lights, plumbing, Air Conditions, Refrigerators, and other related equipment/items are working properly.
- Ensure that both water tanks are filled with clean water.
- Ensure that enough fuel is available in fuel tank.
- Ensure daily round to wards, ICU, OR and Diagnostic areas and maintain complain register.
- Ensure that all UPSs are in working condition and proper place.
- Ensure that all wires are concealed and conduit.
- Ensure availability of medical gases in Operation theater and patient wards.
- Ensure that minimum stock level for electric, plumbing and maintenance supplies are maintained.
- Ensure that water filters of water coolers are replaced timely.
Experience, Skills and Competencies:
- Matric / FSc
- HVAC, electrical or in plumbing course / diploma is a plus.
- 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of Electric, Plumbing and office equipment.
- Being aware of the safety standards.
- Positive attitude.
