Direct Reporting to Regional Business Head

Direct Reports of the Position: PBO, PB, CSO, MCE

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will be responsible to achieve the overall success of the branch through exceptional leadership, customer experience, and people management skills. BMs will ensure full compliance with operational risk management policies and procedures with a problem-solving approach.

Major Duties & Responsibilities to perform the Role:      

Accountabilities:

  • BMs will lead the branch team and ensure that each member of the team delivers an exceptional client experience
  • As a branch leader, BM will identify new talent and hire staff on need basis
  • BM will be responsible to develop branch activities, coach the team, and inspire to perform at their best
  • BM to find and help right target market and help the sales team to generate deposits and business opportunities
  • BM will trigger revenue growth and take accountability for results

Duties & Responsibilities:

Clients Experience:-

  • Lead by example and show the branch team how to deepen client relationships
  • Maintain throughout, without compromise, high standards of service to branch clients
  • Strive hard to develop new and existing client relationships
  • Oversee client complaint resolution process and quickly resolve client complaints and escalate when necessary

Result Driven Activities:-

  • Monitor on a daily basis branch business performance
  • Develop action plans into place to close any gaps
  • Work with partners (SME, Retail Finance, Agri, etc.) to seize market opportunities
  • Improve branch overall performance

People Leadership:-

  • Lead and coach the branch team to drive success and achieve results on a weekly/monthly/half-yearly/yearly basis
  • Provide training opportunities to employees
  • Ensure that every employee has the right kind of knowledge to deliver as per their JDs and perform to maximum potential

Operations and Regulators:-

  • Manage and minimize risks to safeguard bank, clients, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with operational risk management policies and procedures is implemented in letter and spirit

Relevant Experience: 05 Years of branch banking/operations

Experience Nature: Banking

Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate from an HEC recognized University/ Foreign University

Other Qualifications: Relevant certifications/diplomas
