Product selection/Assortment Building: Lead the Category Assortment building process for the core target customer group covering core, general and complimentary needs of the customer
Vendor/Supplier Management: Build excellent commercial relationship with supplier for demand fulfillment. The scope of work includes but not limited to vendor scanning & selction, finalizing supplier payment terms and contracts, joint business planning with key vendors. Securing supplier support for in-store hot spots, merchandising opporuntites and out of store customer initiatives.
Inventory Control: Maintaining optimum stock levels at all times. Ensuring optimal stock rotation and limiting scale of stuck/dead stock.
Merchandising and Plannogramming: Preparing merchandising and plannogramming guidelines for store teams and ensuring their implementation. Identifying hotspots.
Product Promotion and Pricing: Develop and implement annual promotional calendar. Develop and implement competitive pricing strategy for core, general and complimentary assortment.
Revenue and Income Targets: Overall responsibility for business turnover and income targets.
