PHP Developer

The Design Factory is an established and reputable Creative and Digital Web Agency based in Central London. Our core team is based in the UK and Europe. Our development is done in Lahore, Pakistan where our Senior developer is based. Due to exciting recent new client wins we are looking to add one more member to our team who will work alongside our Senior Developer in Lahore.

This role is ideally suited to somebody who are at their best working in small teams, responsible, reliable and looking for a long term secure career. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects at international standards. Our projects are varied and challenging and we want somebody who embraces and thrives off this.

This is a full time role based in Lahore, so kindly do not apply if you are looking for freelance or part-time work.

The process for recruitment will be a face to face interview, and then you will be required to do a test which will be a PHP task. This will be done on-site in our office in Lahore.

Must have:

4 years BS degree in computer science / information technology
Top notch programmer who can design algorithms based on renowned best patterns & practices.
Good hands-on experience with LAMP based technology.
Familiar with Linux based development environment. Expert in Core PHP, MySql, HTML, jQuery, CSS. Experience in Laravel, Angular and React is huge plus.

Responsibilities

Applicant must have strong programming logical skills.
4+ Year experience in developing complex software applications/solutions Using PHP/MySQL stack
Strong skills in the application development cycle
Solid knowledge of relational databases, database design and querying
Commitment to excellence and shipping only secure and quality code
Special consideration for application security
The candidate must have experience in adding and modifying new features in existing websites.
The candidate will work in a team to design, develop and support company/clients critical applications.
Good understanding of database queries.
Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
Must be aware of latest tools & techniques in web
The candidate should have experience of payment integrations like PayPal and Stripe.
Candidate should have experience in 3rd party services integrations in the web application.
Self-Starter - Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction
Experience in Angular, React will be advantageous.

Front-end development: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, bootstrap
Database: (MySQL, phpMyAdmin)
The candidate MUST have knowledge & skill to work with CorePHP

Salary

First 3 months probation period - 70,000 PKR - 80,000 PKR (Depending on Experience)
After successful probation period - salary is increased to 80,000 PKR with the following perks
1. Medical = 2.5k
2. Petrol = 2k
3. Mobile = 1k
4. Gym = 1k
after 6 months perks increase to
1. Medical = 4k
2. Petrol = 3k
3. Mobile = 1k
4. Gym = 1k
