About the Role:

As Media Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing our social media strategy across all major channels. Starting from a blank canvas, you’ll partner with our newly appointed eCommerce manager and product teams to build desire, starting from foundational strategy through to content production, influencer engagement, and more. In addition to the role's core focus, you’ll also partner with brand advocates to produce UGC and pitch in to optimize email marketing campaigns too. No small task, right? Whilst the role requires serious vision to ensure success, you’ll have the full support of a collaborative and highly knowledgeable team.   • Full time position
  • Look after our social media accounts and current/new customers
  • Confidant enough to present reports/proposals via zoom
  • Answer inbound calls from existing customers when required
  • Understand social media trends, features and platforms
  • Understand the Organic reach and influencer marketing
  • Graphic designing
  • Social media posts/content scheduling tools

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish overarching social strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more
  • Plan, brief, write, and execute ongoing content calendars for platforms that demand attention! 
  • Produce content such as stills, stories, collection ads, and more with the internal creative studio
  • Work with platform data to segment audiences and test channel-specific content
  • Support digital and brand campaigns with ad hoc social creative as and when required
  • Track and monitor social metrics to continually optimize content for end users, boosting engagement
  • Establish an influencer marketing program to kick start UGC and grow presence across platforms

Key skills

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in social media
  • Strong and demonstrable understanding of what drives engagement on social in 2021
  • Experienced in content creation and technically savvy with digital tools such as Illustrator or similar
  • Previous social community management and/or online crisis communication experienced preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to craft messages with conviction
  • A positive, collaborative, and solution-focused attitude
  • Strong attention to detail with grammar, tone, and aesthetic

Favorable skills:

  • Degree qualified in marketing or creative discipline preferred
  • Social experience in the consumer goods space is a bonus
  • Experience with common digital platforms such as Facebook Ads and Klaviyo is a major bonus

Office Timings:

Monday – Friday (12 PM – 8 PM) Melbourne time

Saturday (12 PM – 5 PM) Melbourne time
