The Freedom Institute is seeking a motivated and creative Content Creator Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of engaging content across multiple digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and video channels. You will be responsible for crafting compelling written content and assisting with video production to enhance our brand's online presence. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in content creation and digital marketing, ideal for individuals who are passionate about storytelling and eager to grow their skills in a real-world setting. You will also have the opportunity to manage a small team, guiding one intern to collaborate effectively and contribute to project goals. As a Content Creator Intern, you will work closely with our marketing department to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives and target audience needs. You will gain exposure to a variety of creative tools and techniques, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and apply digital marketing fundamentals to broaden the Institutes reach. This role offers a supportive environment to develop both technical and interpersonal skills crucial for a successful career in content creation and marketing.
Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit engaging content for various platforms including social media, blogs, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with the planning, shooting, and editing of video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant software.
  • Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and assisting in creating social media strategies.
  • Collaborate with the small content team, providing guidance and support to one team member to ensure smooth workflow and consistent quality.
  • Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to create relevant and compelling content.
  • Assist in digital marketing campaigns by preparing content calendars, monitoring analytics, and providing insights to optimize performance.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with The Freedom Institutes brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Support brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and innovative approaches to storytelling.
  • Help maintain a content library and archive past projects and materials for future reference.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of content strategies and processes.
