HR experience will be beneficial but is by no means necessary as training will be provided. All you need is the drive to learn and deliver within your role, excellent attention to detail & administrative skills. Most importantly, the ability to think on your feet and communicate with people from different contexts will go a long way!   

HR Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.
  • To support managers with managing probation and performance management of the current staff members.
  • Ensure effective administrative monitoring of sickness trends and remedial action in accordance with company policy and to facilitate absence management to ensure a smooth return to work.
  • Administering the recruitment process from start to finish. Carrying out telephone interviews and completing initial screening of candidates. Booking interviews on outlook and completing all administrative tasks related to this process.
  • Preparing and/or amending HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides.
  • Ensure all data on manual and computerized records is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely information as and when required.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support all company’s Training and Development interventions and maintaining records thereof. 
  • Managing all aspects of employee and HR management information on HR software and on the HR drive. Managing holidays via holiday forms in line with policies.
  • To process monthly payroll from start to finish including processing information for new starters and leavers, ready for the Managing Director’s/HR Manager’s review.
  • Minute taking in HR formal and informal meetings.
  • Administer staff birthdays. 
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of HR (UK based), the GM (PK) or other senior members of the management team across both sites.

Person Specification

  • Proactive, approachable, willing to provide support where required and work with a positive team spirit rather than an individualistic attitude.
  • Adaptable and dynamic with the ability to learn systems and processes quickly
  • Exceptional communication skills. 
  • Experience with basic principles of administration & office management alongside HR (beneficial but not essential).
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Excellent numeric skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics.
  • Natural interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HRM (preferred).
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.
