Position Summary
- The candidate would be responsible for training students for “Retail Sales” program in line with the industry needs and standards including but not limited to the lessons and activities planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, community coordination and industry engagement for admissions, on job trainings and placements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To design, develop and update curriculum, course lectures, presentations, practical, and assessment material.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments as outlined by the institute.

- Mentoring students and providing them career counseling.
- To determine training needs by coordinating with the industry, observing sales encounters, studying sales results reports and conferring with sales managers.
- To conduct outcome based Retail Sales training sessions / programs for fresh entrants to various tiers of management.

- To provide resources and assistance, scheduling and executing student recruitment, marketing and orientation drives.
- Strong coordination with the industry for providing and supervising the on job training of the students.
- To maintain records of all the related activities.
- To develop related policies and procedures.
Competencies & Skills:
- Sound knowledge and experience of retail sales businesses and processes.
- Excellent presentation/facilitation and classroom management skills.
- Sound experience of working in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills with commercial and analytical sense, sharp problem solver and ability to get things done
- Self-motivated professional, keen to learn and enhance knowledge and skills.
- Experience of textile related retail businesses would be of advantage
