Job Responsibilities:
- Reading, writing, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures and schematics
- Designing software to control robotic systems, such as those robots used for manufacturing, packaging and palletizing etc.
- Designing automated robotic systems that are used to increase the production and precision levels within specific industries
- Analyzing and evaluating the prototypes and robotic systems
- Debug robotics programs and systems
- analyzing, reviewing and approving cost estimates and design calculations
- Process or interpret signals or sensor data
- Integrate multi-axis robotic arm with peripherals, such as different end effectors used for vision, force control, picking, placing, labelling, sorting, palletizing etc.
- Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
- Write algorithms and programs (codes) for robot applications
- Design automated robotic systems to increase production volume or precision in high-throughput operations
- Conduct research on latest robotic technology to create new robotic systems or system capabilities
- End to end automation of assembly lines
- Evaluating and calibrating robotic systems for maximum efficiency
- Teaching plans - presentations, lectures, notes and briefings
- Teach and supervise, technologists, technicians, or other engineers
- Serving as technical support for the robotic systems that are designed and created
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
Competencies & Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability of industrial automation
- Proven skills in writing software and programming systems
- Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts
- Create prototypes and work on necessary controls and hardware (e.g. microcontroller, PLCs)
- Familiarity with cobots and block programming
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence.
- Should be well versed in English Language (Spoken & Written).
- Fresh graduate can be considered with strong theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Final year project (FYP) related to Robotics/Industrial Automation is a plus point
