Oversee and direct construction projects from design conception until completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Review all design layout drawings at key stages of design and development to ensure compliance with authorities and company requirements.
- Review the work progress on daily basis and negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
- Submits strategic plans to Senior Management for approval and implements such plans through daily tactical decision making.
- Controls capital and expense budgets related to leases, building construction and operations, employee moves, furniture deployment, capital item replacement, business unit initiatives and overall portfolio optimization.
- May also inspect buildings for renovation, repair, and code compliance needs
- Establishes budgets and payments, construction quality and schedules
- Candidates with University and/or Construction, Design and Development Framework experience will be given preference
