We are seeking a talented and creative 2D / 3D Video Animator / Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Animator/Editor, you will be responsible for bringing our visual content to life by creating captivating animations and editing videos to enhance their overall impact. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including promotional videos, explainer videos, social media content, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging 2D and 3D animations that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
- Utilize industry-standard software (such as Adobe After Effects, Maya, Blender, or similar) to create high-quality animations and visual effects.
- Edit raw video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, smooth flow, and overall visual cohesiveness.
- Add appropriate sound effects, music, and voiceovers to enhance the impact of the videos.
- Create visually appealing motion graphics and typography to complement video content.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video animation and editing, and implement them into your work to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client requirements.
- Assist in developing storyboards and animatics to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Animator/Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software, such as Adobe After Effects, Maya, Blender, or similar tools for animation and visual effects.
- Solid understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, timing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and best practices for exporting videos across different platforms.
- Familiarity with sound design and audio editing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain creative concepts to team members and clients.
- A passion for storytelling and visual communication through animation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a creative agency or production studio.
- Familiarity with 3D animation and modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of video marketing trends and strategies.
- Ability to create custom illustrations and assets for animations.
