We are building our client servicing team in Pakistan. You'll be working on a daily basis with a world-class team of Digital Strategists based in the US.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to drive our product forward. We are looking for someone who has over 5 years of experience working on Laravel/PHP building products. We follow a very strict ship code everyday policy building our product in micro-increments, so you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the specified role.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules using different web frameworks
- Strategically solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions along with data-back-up
- Meeting deadlines without compromising on quality and sacrificing attention to detail
- Experience participating in an AGILE environment and experience with the AGILE development process
- Must have good experience in Linux using Command line.
- Experience on working with large scale Ecommerce Application.
- Experience in Amazon AWS using Lambda is a big plus.
- Development experience on Python is a big plus.
- Strong initiative and motivated to take ownership.
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support
- Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
- Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
- Effectively working in a cross-functional team environment
- Staying up-to-date on web developments and trends
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience as a PHP Developer
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks, Laravel is desired
- Comprehensive understanding of API integrations
- Experience working on Cloud Technologies like AWS, GCP would be preferred
- Experience working on SaaS products would be a huge plus
