We are building our client servicing team in Pakistan. You'll be working on a daily basis with a world-class team of Digital Strategists based in the US.
We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with experience in developing custom WordPress plugins, WP-CLI and optimizing WordPress.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the specified role:
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom plugins for WordPress
- Utilize WP-CLI with custom scripts to launch, run and configure WordPress
- Optimize WordPress websites for optimal performance
- Work with DevOps team to ensure server stack is optimized for WordPress and identify areas for improvements
- Help customers troubleshoot errors on their websites
- Test our hosting environment/stack leading plugins and their updates to ensure compatibility
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with WP-CLI
- Hands-on experience in optimizing WordPress
- Experience in PHP to write custom plugins for WordPress
- WordPress server-level optimization experience is a huge plus
- Good English writing skills are a huge plus
- Experience with leading Page Builders and Caching Plugins
- Knowledge of Redis, FastCGI, Varnish caching will be a huge plus
