Ideal candidate will have 5 - 7 years of hands on experience in plumbing and HVAC material take offs of multistory residential & industrial buildings, complexies, restaurants, gymnasiums, hospitals etc.
Candidate must be well versed with CSI building construction code.
Knowledge of take off softwares like Plan Swift, Blue Beam etc. is a must.Key areas of expertise will include the following:
Ducts’ (rectangular, oval and round) linear lengths and weights' calculations
Duct fittings (reducers, elbows, branch take off etc.) insulation, supports etc. take off
HVAC piping, fittings, insulation, supports etc. take off
HVAC diffusers, grilles, louvers, registers, dampers (volume, fire, fire & smoke dampers) etc. take off
HVAC equipment including roof top units, chillers, heaters, fans, indoor and outdoor units etc. take off
Plumbing piping, fittings (elbows, reducers, tees etc.), insulation, supports etc. take off
Plumbing valves, strainers, clean outs, drains etc. take off
