Job Overview

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • End to end software design - following the Think Digitally Blueprint Process.
  • Providing technical solutions to complex system problems.
  • Taking clear yet detailed notes or reviewing and understanding notes made by others.
  • Talking to users.
  • Clear process mapping of existing and new processes using tools such as LucidChart.
  • Producing client facing documentation that clearly outlines software specifications.
  • Building interactive UX designs using tools such as UXPin.
  • Building and maintaining the Master System Configuration (MSC) for a software product - which contains detailed field level information for the development team.
  • Keeping track of changing user requirements throughout a project.
  • Finding opportunities to reduce user effort and maximise automation in systems where possible.
  • Assisting with the smooth deployment of / migration to new systems and modules.

  Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or industry recognised qualification(s) preferred with 5 years+ experience.
  • Software design (in particular replacing existing legacy systems that require data migration).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong business process mapping and process engineering skills.
  • Strong technical skills and up to date with the latest technology.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good understanding of software development frameworks such as Agile / SCRUM / Kanban.
  • Experienced working as part of a software development team.

Desirable

  • Ability to get a visa to travel to UK/Europe and the USA if required.
  • Experience working with organisations based in UK.
