Civil Engineer

Time and Tune is engaged in several turnkey projects across Pakistan. We require an experienced, qualified and mature civil engineer at our site in Karachi. The selected candidate will head a team of site supervisors, CAD technicians and laborers and represent the company at external meetings with client.

Key Responsibilities:

· Experience in road construction, steel mesh installation, cable trenches

· Head and manager a team of site supervisors CAD technicians and laborers

· Technical advisory on civil scope of project

· Surveying and record keeping

· Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

· Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards

· Cross-check sub-contractor invoices

· Test building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, or steel

· Provide cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor

· Use design software (basic knowledge of AutoCAD)

· Use project management software (MS Project/Primavera)

· Oversee, surveying operations to establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction

· Have knowledge of concept design, as-built drawings, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment

· Reporting and documentation

· Project management from initial enquiry to completion
