What if you had a chance to build a product used by the most innovative startups and people in the world? That’s what we’re doing over at Tivity — we’re building a platform that startups and DAOs with a global network of unique coworking spaces.
We are looking for a passionate full stack engineer who loves to ship code and is not afraid to learn and apply new languages. Ideally, you are a self-starter, build things for fun, and are not afraid to iterate fast.
What You'll Do
- Play a foundational role on our founding team dedicated to developing the pilot version of our web platform.
- Brainstorm, design, and build high-quality software for our customer base by writing easily understandable, idiomatic, and high-performing code.
- Become a subject matter expert in your area of technical focus, while contributing code and providing well-reasoned feedback in areas outside your primary domain.
- Participate in and drive technical architecture discussions, introducing new technologies, patterns, and paradigms where necessary.
- Review peers' code, and provide constructive feedback that keeps the bar high on code quality and standards.
- Partner closely with the rest of the founding team to understand customer concerns and how your contributions affect our business.
- Follow an agile and growth mindset to embrace challenges, ensure clear communication channels and continuous improvement of yourself and your teammates.
Skills:
- Strong Full-stack software fundamentals (React, Typescript, Redux, Node js, PostgreSQL, and more)
- Can quickly learn how to work with services and tools even without previous experience
- Excellent written communication (design docs, specs, documentation, code reviews, post-mortems)
- Impatient with execution, but patient with results (we have a bias towards speed and action)
Bonus points: 2+ years of development experience, worked at previous startups, shipped products to thousands of users, personal interest in productivity/startups/web3.
