- Database Installation , Configuration , Patch , High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Administration on level 1 and 2 of RDBMS including MS SQL Server , MySQL , Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business R12 and Reporting Services.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance analysis, database and application health check, backup and restore as required.
- Handle relevant complaints/request through internal tickets and change management system
- Provide support 24x7x365 on Phone, email or through VPN
- Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance of the databases
- Mentor Junior DBAs and host knowledge sharing meetings with DBA team members and facilitate the Development Teams as appropriate
- Coordinate to the Systems as well as Storage team for the databases requirements
- Participate in periodic Disaster Recovery testing
- Communicate Oracle Service Request to handle the Oracle and MySQL Databases issues
- Providing new thoughts for the improvement of the database administration and architecture
- Implement databases security policy as per organization security and database management policy
