Responsibilities Include:
- Team lead - using agile methodologies
- Interacts with product management and software engineering team to determine the best possible functional design and user experience for new product features
- Builds and executes unit tests for new or existing application code
- Works with Customer Care team members to resolve problems with released software
- Exhibits very high personal commitment to quality, software engineering best practices, and protection of sensitive consumer information
- Provides input into and release management decisions
- Ability to drive issues to effective resolution and to find solutions to challenging, time-critical problems
Technical Skills:
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering/Software Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software architecture, design, and development
- Agile processes and methods, particularly Scrum
- Proficiency in automated unit test development practices and design methodologies
- Data modeling concepts and best practices
- Experience with Git, Stash and build/packaging methods, automated builds
- Using version control (e.g. SVN) Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience with object oriented programming in Objective-C, Java (J2EE/J2ME)
- In-depth experience with iOS SDK, Java, Swift, Objective-C, iCloud, Cocoa Touch, development in XCode, Android Studio, C and C++
- Familiar with the Android SDK knowledge of SQLite, MySQL similar database management system familiar with Eclipse
- Experience with Android UI or iOS frameworks
- Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP Experience building web and native apps
- Client side development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UML
- Java, XML, JSON, and Relational Database experience
- Database and SQL performance tuning experience
- RESTful web services and OAUTH2 authentication
- Performance analysis and tuning experience including memory usage, CPU utilization, leak checking, etc
- Experience with wireless device to device communication standards (Bluetooth, BLE, NFC, WiFi, ProSe)
- Experience in cross-platform development technologies (e.g. PhoneGap, Appcelerator, Xamarin, Qt)
- Excellent debugging skills to solve challenging problems
- Understanding of other compiled languages Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
- Experience using social media APIs Ads integration using a 3rd party ad server (DART)
- Experience/knowledge in mobile application software development tools (e.g. GIT, Gerrit, JBOS), testing, process (agile, kanban) and configuration management
