GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for TWA Group, the SAP Basis Administrator responsibilities include but not limited to configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis.
The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP systems. Additional areas include the evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP and external systems, maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects, and manage the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production, if required. As well as analyze, develop, and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP.
SAP HANA System management, country wide IT Planning, deployment and 24/7 operations for ERP/SAP, CRM (SAP/Microsoft), Billing System (AdvOSS), Call Center solution and all business applications. He/She is responsible to develop and implement IT policies and SOP’s. High level planning for Messaging collaboration architecture. He/She should align his/her self-technology vision with business strategic model for automating and creating robust IT Enterprise infrastructure model. He/She should able to understand IT service Management and Enterprise System security. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor (GM IT / Head of IT / VP Engineering). May interact with peers and/or management levels within TWA and its subsidiaries.
• Maintains SAP systems and applications, supporting users for SAP system(s) and applications usage.
• Follows defined procedures to monitor SAP system applications and resolve problems.
• Works on one or more, simple to moderately complex projects as a project team member.
• Supports integration of changes in test, preproduction, and production environments.
• Ensures testing procedures are followed.
• Works with production quality assurance/testing team to ensure an appropriate level of testing has been completed prior to implementation of change.
• Performs SAP module installations for upgrades and patches and logs all technical upgrade steps.
• Works with internal teams in implementing system-wide updates, fixes, and upgrades.
• Prepares documentation for customer support, such as server and client hardware/software configurations
• Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
• Develop, and code difficult and complex programs for SAP modules.
• Develop test data and analyze problems in programs.
• Performing routine audits of systems/software.
• Assistance provided in backup/recovery of the systems.

o Add-on and Support Pack application and troubleshooting
o Kernel Upgrade
o SAP system monitoring and thorough analysis of issues
o SAP parameter change, operation mode setup, Logon group setup
o SAP Role based Authorization knowledge - Role creation and modification
o Spool administration and troubleshooting spool/printer issues
o OSS Note application
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage SAP HANA system.
• Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities.
• Strong leadership, project management skills and documentation practices.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• 3 - 5 years overall SAP experience.
• 1+ year in SAP HANA Basis consultant / administrator role.
• Experience in handling at least 1 implementation, migration and/or Upgrade project along with post implementation projects.
• Exposure to Backup/Restore/Recovery of SAP/Oracle installations, Server Monitoring and optimizing techniques & HANA Databases.
• Must be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively
• Bachelor’s Degree with focus in IT/Computer Science
