The Technical Business Analyst, (Tech BA), will be responsible for owning the overall design of assigned technical projects (product strategy) as well as recommending best practices for solutions based on business needs.
This role as a Technical Business Analyst will require strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements.
The Technical Business Analyst will also be responsible for writing a technical specification (for custom development, system integration, etc.).
These specifications will need to be precise and clear. Ideally, the Technical Business Analyst is engaged in best practice development initiatives, provides thoughtful leadership, and familiarity with proven cloud solutions that support vertical objectives.
Perform research to determine technical requirements and then translate such into specifications for technical projects.
Align development activities and documentation to show the satisfaction of the project requirements.
Develop complex business strategy, implementation, and process diagrams.
Coordinate and gather data to support weekly reporting.
Support user development activities (UI development, detailing user stories, identifying impacted systems and interfaces, documenting policies and procedures).
Provide exceptional customer support to the business.
Is able to exercise independent judgment, and take the lead role on enterprise level project with minimal direction from a director or supervisor.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in full systems development.
Technical Background / Degree Program preferred.
Ability to effectively influence and lead multiple levels of an organization through functional boundaries.
Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. mainframe, client-server, relational databases, and web-based architectures).
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take a leadership role when necessary.
Must have a solid working knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts (e.g. reporting, querying software, spreadsheets, dashboards, and data mining).
Strong communication skills, including prioritizing, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building.
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Proven time management cum organization skills (must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines).
Outstanding analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources.
Experience creating standard operating procedures (SOP) as well as to create technical documentation inclusive of flow charts and architectural schematics.
Familiar with User Interface/User Experience tools and concepts.
Previous working Experience in AI and as a Machine Learning ML/Data Scientist is preferred.
