- Design & support various business critical RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle & SQL server) environments including Technical Project Management, Architecture & new setups.
- 24x7 Production support. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of databases. Pro-active monitoring, tuning, configuring server. Support all day-to-day DBA tasks. Schema Migration & Query tuning.
- Primary support for Oracle dbase including native replication along with Microsoft SQL Server support.
- Secondary support for Sybase database administration RAC setup.
- Database Support and Administration in terms of Incident, Change and Release Management from Development to Prod Environments to follow change management process.
- Perform Health Checks and Monitor checks/alerts on all Systems Proactively.
- Prepare all required setup, SOP’s & DR/BCP documents.
- Prepare scripts (Unix shell/windows powershell) for various tasks automation.
- Familiar to use various administrative tools (DBArtisan/Idera tool box/TOAD)
- Ensure database licenses compliance as per license agreement and maintain inventory/asset management portal.
- Contact database vendor for technical support for all critical/stack errors.
- Contribute to external audits performed by KPMG/Deloitte.
- Disaster Recovery Management/workload automation product (ONE Automation) support.
