Job Responsibilities:
The role of Senior Researcher will be to Research technology and trends and analyze how they are applied in different sectors.
The key responsibilities will be :
- Use different tools and methodologies to conduct online research on certain pre-determined topics.
- Analyze and interpret the patterns, industry trends and key developments across different sectors.
- Filter the important developments from the research and follow and update the same regularly
- Slice and dice the data to draw analysis, interpret the research and conclusions, aligning it to the goal as required.
- Analyze the research conducted and convert the same into presentations and reports to be used across different mediums, for dissemination of this information and knowledge
- The Senior researcher will be responsible for maintaining and protecting the research data created as well as that shared by the organisation.
- Following a strict code of ethics and protecting any confidential information at all times.
Skills & Person Specifications:
- A curious mind, who enjoys and is passionate about Research and has an ability to keep digging for more information and data points about a certain topic
- The Senior Researcher, should demonstrate excellent time management and patience.
- Ability to keep and meet strict deadlines for oneself.
- Ability to manage a team as required and ensure delivery of quality and timely output from them
- Excellent team player, and a leader - Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and exceptional written, verbal, and telephonic communication skill.
Qualifications & Experience specifications:
- 8-10 years hands on experience of having conducted online research of the industry, preferably those conducting sectoral research for businesses in the capital markets or ranking and/ or research organizations
- Bachelors degree preferable in Research methodologies / Statistics / Math, though a Master’s degree will be preferred
- Sound understanding of research methodologies. - Strong statistical and mathematical aptitude.
