  • Introduction this consulting role the Travel & Expense Sourcing Consultant will lead the design, implementation and steady-state management of category strategies for OUR external clients.Additionally, the Sourcing Consultant must understand external variables, learn the internal landscape of our clients (requirements, organizational structure, priorities) and successfully develop client / supplier relationships.
  • Your Role and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement category strategies utilizing various value levers that deliver improved cost, reduced risk and more efficient programs for Our clients.
  • Successfully build relationships with client stakeholders by issuing prompt responses to client communication.
  • Demonstrate value by becoming a trusted advisor, lead negotiator in the areas of sourcing and negotiation.
  • Assess clients category maturity and develop a transformation roadmap to improve overall category value and effectiveness.Collect market intelligence and analyze client data, metrics and reports to track performance against contractually agreed targets.Analyze large data sets to identify category opportunities and insights.
  • Participate in category councils and client business reviews to support collaboration, knowledge sharing, opportunity identification and overall relationship development.
  • Ensure seamless hand-off to our clients when appropriate.
  • Core Competencies Listening and Organizing Clarity of Communication Problem Identification, Analysis and Solution Team Building and Collaboration Extensive experience sourcing at least three (3) of the following services Commercial Airline Hotel Car Rental Travel Management Company Corporate Payment Online Booking Tool Expense Solution Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Degree in Business, Marketing, Law, Supply Chain Management or another applicable field Prefer previous experience in a client facing / consultative role.
