Responsibilities:
- Acting as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the eCommerce platform
- Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
- Generating custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates
- Working closely with project managers to address client requests
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and being able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moment's notice
- Understanding business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in working with Shopify and Shopify Plus stores
- Good knowledge of front-end development, liquid programming language, theme customization
- Exp JavaScript (jQuery), JSON, SQL, CSS3, HTML5
- Experience in handling checkout functionality customizations
- Experience in implementing headless commerce projects with Shopify
- Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme
- Experience in integrating external APIs
- Experience in Implementing Shopify Ajax API, Admin APIs, and configuring third-party apps
- Knowledge of building custom, private, and embedded apps
- Experience working with the following technologies: Good to have experience in ReactJS, NodeJS
- Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions if necessary
- Experience with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields
