 Responsibilities

  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • You have the desire to learn new things, try new technology, and seek opportunities to grow and mentor.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Produce and ensure delivery of quality, readable, and well-tested code.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Proven working experience of 3 to 4 years in client and server side development with experience in Java & J2EE
  • Proven hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Experience with: OOA/OOD, distributed systems/software, real time processing, messaging systems; Agile and test-driven development; APIs and application development frameworks (e.g. Spring);
  • Knowledge of memory management, multi-thread and network socket programming.
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
