The Assistant Legal Manager will be responsible for drafting and vetting a range of legal documents, policies and contracts, executing agreements, rendering legal opinions to internal departments as and when required, responding to, filing and following-up on various legal notices and lawsuits, and liaising with external counsels. The Asst. Legal Manager will also be responsible for securing and managing the Intellectual Property Rights of the bank. The position will require management and maintaining of an internal legal repository.
A person with excellent drafting skills and a keen attention to detail, while being highly organized and punctual with deliverables will be a good fit for the position. Knowledge of IP laws, and 3-4 years of experience in-house or in a microfinance institute are preferred.
