Purpose of Job

Managing, Supervising, and Controlling entire affairs of Centralized Clearing Unit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that concern CCU team is Scrutinizing & Posting Clearing Settlement entries accurately as per NIFT report.
  • Ensuring that all staff members of Centralized Clearing Unit are performing their duties effectively and efficiently and as per SOPs.
  • Review all clearing related GLs used by centralized team and ensure that GLs must be reconciled on daily basis.
  • Review overall operations of Centralized Clearing Unit and provide guidance to team where required.
  • Ensure quality check of clearing operations.
  • Perform internal audit of department and review vouchers on weekly & monthly basis.
  • Review system reports, dashboards and daily clearing reconciliations.
  • Ensure that all clearing related record is archived as per SOP and shall be readily available on demand.
  • Highlight issues in SOP & System and provide input for their rectifications.
  • Responsible for Implementation of new policies as and when implemented by the regulator.
  • Follow up aggressively for completion of Project as per defined TAT.
  • Ensure that departmental activities should be aligned with regulations shared by the regulator.
  • Ensure that all Operational Activities of unit will be processed as per define TATs in SOP.
  • Responsible for providing the infrastructure and resources necessary for unit functions so that unnecessary delays can be avoided.
  • Developing and enforcing rules and procedures to ensure that the workplace runs smoothly.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Hiring and training of employees and overseeing their performance.
  • Annual evaluations for staff as per their JDs.
  • Ensure that backup of each staff of the Unit should be developed and available when required.
  • Ensure that all unit staff should avail the mandatory leaves as per SOP.
  • Development of Teams as per bank vision to achieve set targets.

Technical Competency

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in Core Banking system
  • Proficient in data analysis

  • Should have strong Conceptual & decision making Skills

Qualifications

  • MBA,BBA
  • Minimum 4 Years of Banking Experience
