Purpose of Job

In this position, Insurance managers are responsible for overseeing/managing the insurance activities and overall performance of insurance companies to increase efficiency and maximize performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing end to end the annual renewal process of Bank’s insurance agreements including but not limited to employees’ life & health, fixed assets, bankers blanket, borrower’s life insurances etc. 
• Coordination with all stakeholders for information gathering, assessment and evaluation for adequate insurance coverages and arrangements thereof.
• Manage, direct and monitor insurance activities and the overall performance of Insurance companies to increase efficiency and maximize performance.
• Follow-up with respective insurance companies for timely recovery of all insurance claims lodged.
• Managing operational processing of different products related to fixed assets, bankers’ blanker, motor vehicles & credit life insurance
• Sharing data with insurance companies for all additions / endorsements during the insured period.
• Responsible for processing of annual and monthly insurance premium payments
• Analyze agreements/arrangements to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Any other task assigned by line manager

Technical Competency

• Proficient at using MS. Office, especially Ms. Excel and Power point

Experience and Qualification

• Minimum 14 years of education with qualification such as MBA/M.Com/ACMA etc. would be preferred

• At least 2 years of hands on experience in dealing with Insurance companies.
