Looking for an experienced website designer/developer with experience developing on Shopify, WordPress, and HubSpot.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, PHP and all the basic things in the LAMP stack (and server configuration stuff) for use in WordPress customization or to fix something
- Have a creative eye for design which basically means you can design part of a website in multiple ways (like provided in premium themes) or at least you can find those design ideas yourself.
- Can build full website given a WordPress panel, the right theme (paid) and very few (only if needed) paid Plugins, with customization as per client needs
- Able to find things out on your own. For example, fixing bugs, fixing design or implementation problems, finding out the right colors, or even finding out the right video or stock or vector image as per need. Which basically just means that you are diligent + smart problem solver
These things are a plus,- Preferably, you fundamental design principles which you can apply to web design (cause they are bit different as the web is flexible) for good, user-friendly, attention grabbing designs.- You may also be a WP theme developer, which just means that you are more of an expert who knows the internals.- You also know some other popular CMS and extensions (don't bring up Joomla or Drupal) among the following, WooCommerce, Shopify, SquareSpace, BigCommerce, Magento, LeadPages, Unbounce which essentially are software for ecommerce, landing page setup. Only because, we may also expand later for other aspects such as landing page creation or ecommerce.
PHP
Working as a senior player in the development team, you will be responsible for producing solutions used by our customers, lab partners and affiliate practitioners. You will work across the full breadth of the product delivering both brand new functionality as well as smaller incremental changes and fixes across web and mobile.You will contribute towards the evolution in the scope of our product, offering your insights on the best ways to move fast in a stable environment. You will help to establish development standards and practices (including testing) and deliver high quality work to agreed timescales.
Responsibilities
Software development- web and hybrid mobile app Support solution and technical design, in particular – able to clearly explain the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches, technologies, etc.Work in an agile scrum environmentConduct code reviews and ensure code quality Work with remote teams Create and maintain unit and BDD-based integration testsWrite and maintain development documentation e.g. API documentation, solution diagrams etc.Time recording, updating sprint board/dev tasks
Desired Skills & Experience (PHP/Laravel):
2+ years experience with PHP, Modern Backend Framework (Laravel, Symfony, etc.), Modern Front End Framework (Vue, jQuery, Angular, etc.), HTML5, SASS & CSS Proficient in code versioning tools, such as GIT Experience in working with an automated build and deployment process Strong knowledge of SQL and writing queries in MySQL, and Postgre SQLBSc Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience A communication pro - must be able to explain technical issues to a non-technical person, pleasantly (we are always on Skype with stakeholders) with a good level of English Comfortable with writing, editing, and maintaining Unit/Feature tests Highly attentive to details, able to cross all the t's and dot all the i's and help review/fix others Easygoing, fun, and a team player - must be able to comprehend highly-advanced forms of sarcasm
