Union Steel Industries (USI) has an immediate opening for an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) responsible for supervising and planning the construction sequences in a timely manner for an ongoing project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction and structural repairs to relevant personnel.
- Inspect project site daily to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to ensure timely procurement.
- Liaise with the Project Head to update on construction progress.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
Qualifications/ Key Skills
- BE/ BSc in Civil Engineering (PMP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage)
- Min of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven working experience managing a construction site.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD, Revit etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
