Network Engineer will be responsible for managing network uptime for UBL Sahiwal region network WAN segment .WAN segment includes branch end routers installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Ensure WAN media deployment, upgrades and replacement in UBL Sahiwal branches, Offsite ATM, Booth and remote locations in time as per UBL HO requirement.
Job Requirements:
- Active Cisco/Juniper Certification (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on experience.
- Ability to draft and document designs and standards.
- Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking routing and switching.
- Familiar with 24x7 network operations.
- 4+ years with WAN/MAN (BGP, OSPF, IPSEC Tunnel), LAN/WLAN (DNS, IP Addressing, Spanning Tree), Catalyst switches and modules.
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
- Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources.
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
- Expertise in JUNOS devices such as SRX, MX, EX series.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who aren't technically trained.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organization.
- Organizational skills and the ability to priorities your workload.
