Reports to: Risk Manager - Corporate
Division: Credit Risk Management
Responsibilities:
To analyze and review Credit Proposals with an aim to highlight credit issues for the relevant credit approving authority. Additionally, Risk Analyst shall also be responsible for handling ongoing credit issue in allocated credit relationships.
- Comprehend Credit Policy and SBP regulations;
- Carry out need-gap analysis, collating the required information and presenting complete information along with view on credit to the Risk Manager/Senior Risk Manager
- Provide guidance to business on credit related issues to ensure quality of credit proposals
- To maintain a persistent, follow up with the RMs/ SRMs for regularization of overdue accounts
- To keep track and follow up for early regularization of deferrals and preparation of regular monthly report.
- Follow up business unit on NPL accounts and remedial management.
Required Qualification, Skills & Experience:
- Sound concepts and relevant experience in various facets of the banking field, particularly relationship management, trade finance and credit initiation.
- SBP PR / Banks credit policy and credit manual knowledge is also required.
- Ability to apply knowledge and experience to actual credit situation and to communicate assessments and opinions clearly and directly in speech and in writing.
- Bachelors/Master's degree from a HEC Recognized University in commerce/Banking/Finance with 02-06 years of professional experience.
