- Maintain customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain revenues by verifying and entering transactions
- Maintain receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, other departments, and from customers.
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account, verifying totals and preparing report.
- Secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts; resolving discrepancies.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- At least ONe years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with accounting software XERO
- Excellent communication Skills, as the job needs regular follow up with clients for unpaid invoices through emails and calls
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal department
